Pilot → Proof of Concept
Founding & First Class
Incorporated KRE8ivU Inc. and delivered inaugural paid pilot at Servant's House Ministry. Designed one-week class contributing to Douglas Greene's M.S. thesis.

2017-2019
Local Reach → Regional Momentum
Pilot Programs Launch
Delivered programs across Davidson and nearby counties, serving 500+ students. Partnered with TRIO programs and launched activities at Lexington and Thomasville Middle Schools.

- Brought STEAM-aligned learning to underserved learners
- Increased student agency through creative projects
2019
Scale → Statewide
Curriculum Expansion & Camp Growth
Added cinematography & filmmaking to core curriculum and expanded equipment inventory. Scaled to 22 summer camps across North Carolina.

- More youth completed portfolio-ready projects
- Stronger linkages to CTE and industry exposure

Resilience → Innovation
Pivot to Virtual & National Recognition
Pivoted within two weeks to launch free virtual cohorts for ~60 students nationwide. Received Meta Small and Medium Business Excellence Award with case studies.

- Preserved learning during school closures
- Reduced access barriers with no-cost programming
- National recognition and visibility

Certification Course & Culinary Arts Launch
Built Four-Week Certification for entry-level film roles. Launched A.R.I.S.E. Culinary Arts with Chef Kimberly Townsend, integrating trauma-informed learning.

- Provided therapeutic spaces for system-impacted youth

Healing → Self-Expression
Official A.R.I.S.E. Launch
Formalized A.R.I.S.E. (Achieving Resilience & Inspiring Self-Expression) as comprehensive trauma-informed program spanning music, filmmaking, and vocational resilience.

- Strengthened wraparound support systems

Diversion → Opportunity
JCPC Partnerships Expand
Secured JCPC funding for A.R.I.S.E. in 6 counties: Mecklenburg, Anson, Forsyth, Wake, Union, and Davidson. Served juvenile-justice diversion students.

Crossed 3,000+ students taught across online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats while maintaining small-class culture with high adult-to-student ratios.

Our roadmap to serving 10,000+ students by 2030 through strategic expansion and innovation
By 2027 - Re-entry & Statewide Foundation
Launch the A.R.I.S.E. re-entry program for returning citizens, expand A.R.I.S.E. into 10 NC counties, and establish the annual KRE8ivU Youth Short Film Festival.
By 2028 - Infrastructure, Reach & National Replication
Open the KRE8ivU Creative Empowerment Center, launch mobile classrooms for underserved and rural communities, and secure national partnerships to replicate the A.R.I.S.E. model.
By 2029-2030 - Premier Impact
Become recognized certification center for youth in music licensing, sonic branding, ADR, and cinematography. Serve 10,000+ students and host annual creative summit
