KRE8ivU Secures JCPC Funding for ARISE Afterschool Program in Mecklenburg and Anson Counties NC

[Lexington, June 22, 2023] – KRE8ivU, a leading provider of multimedia education in music production, filmmaking, and STEAM learning, is proud to announce that it has been approved for Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) funding in Mecklenburg and Anson Counties, North Carolina. This funding will support the A.R.I.S.E. afterschool program, which aims to provide vocational and STEAM education to at-risk youth in the region.

The A.R.I.S.E. program is designed to address the needs of Mecklenburg County and Anson County by offering practical skills training and education to disconnected youth, especially those involved in the justice system. The program focuses on teaching multimedia skills, such as cinematography and music production, as well as entrepreneurship, alternative careers, employment options, financial literacy, career planning, and preparation.
